There has always been a quiet voice inside me — a pull to make things that carry meaning. For me, creativity isn’t just about making something pretty; it’s about shaping love, memory, and spirit into something you can hold in your hands or see in your home.

For years, my art was sculpting. Clay and form allowed me to capture emotions, moments, and dreams in ways that words couldn’t always express. People have often asked me to sell my sculptures, but I’ve always hesitated. They felt personal, almost sacred. Now, at this stage of my life, I feel called to share them — to let them live in the world and hopefully touch the hearts of others.

Alongside sculpting, I design gifts and keepsakes that carry affirmations, memorials, and positive messages. Each design is my way of saying: you are loved, your memories matter, and your spirit shines.

This is why I create: not just to make things, but to create connections, comfort, and joy. 💜

When I look back, I don’t remember the years so much as the moments.
The laughter around the table with family. The quiet tears when someone we love has to leave us too soon. The feeling of clay soft in my hands as I shape something new.

Life is made up of these small, powerful moments. And I believe we have the gift — the responsibility even — to honor them. Sometimes that means keeping a recipe binder full of love from generations before us. Sometimes it’s placing a memorial gift on the shelf to whisper, “I remember you.” And sometimes it’s an affirmation magnet on the fridge that simply says, “You are enough.”

My work — whether sculpting or designing — is always about honoring those moments. The happy, the sad, the everyday. Because life is fleeting, but when we give love form, it lasts.

One of the proudest moments of my creative journey was becoming a Platinum Seller on Zazzle. It’s a rare honor, and it meant that thousands of people all around the world had chosen my designs to celebrate, honor, and inspire their lives. For me, it wasn’t just about the sales — it was about knowing that my work was making its way into kitchens, offices, weddings, and memorials, bringing little sparks of meaning to everyday life.

But the truth is, the world has changed. With AI generating designs instantly, it’s become harder for artists like me to earn a living the way we used to. Sales have slowed, and at times it’s disheartening. I still pour love into every design, but I’ve also realized it may be time to return to another part of myself that I’ve kept mostly private: my sculpting.

Sculpture has always been my first love. My hands shaping clay, forming curves and textures, creating pieces that speak of connection and meaning — it’s where my soul feels most alive. Many of my sculptures revolve around the Tree of Life, a symbol of unity, growth, and the connections that bind us all together.

So while I continue to design gifts and affirmations, I will also begin to share more of my sculptures online. At 62, it feels like the right time to let this part of myself breathe in the open, instead of hiding it away.

It’s both a little scary and very exciting. Change always is. But just as the Tree of Life reminds us — roots keep us grounded, branches keep us reaching, and in between, we grow. 💜
