Amelia Carrie · Intuitive Expressionism
For the part of you
that welcomes the unexpected.
Five words from you. Twenty-five pounds of clay. An original sculpture neither of us has imagined yet.
Some people feel drawn to art that surprises them. A curious face. An unexpected gesture. A form they keep returning to, discovering something different each time.
If that sounds like you, I invite you to give me five words, and the freedom to see where they lead.
$750 total · $150 nonrefundable setup and start fee
A personal invitation
Let’s discover what your words become.
My sculptures begin with curiosity. As my hands move through the clay, I allow the form to develop. It may become unusual, emotional, playful, mysterious, or something I find difficult to name.
I call this process Intuitive Expressionism. Your words give me something to hold in mind while I explore the shape, movement, and character of the piece. I choose the finish that feels right for the sculpture as it develops.
You may bring a memory, a feeling, a turning point, or simply five words that fascinate you. I bring my own interpretation, guided by intuition and the possibilities I discover in the clay.
Follow your sculpture’s journey.
I will email photographs along the way, from the initial setup through shaping, firing, and finishing. You can watch your sculpture come to life while I follow the creative process.
With love, Amelia Carrie
Meet the unexpected
Wall of Past Sculptures
Look for the piece that makes you pause. Spend a moment with its expression, its movement, and the feeling it brings to you.
These are portfolio examples, not pieces for sale or designs to reproduce. Your words will inspire a new, individual work.
Your part in the creative process
What would you bring to the clay?
A feeling. A memory. A turning point. Or simply five words that fascinate you. They don’t need to sound poetic. They only need to mean something to you.
Five words. One sentence.
Give me five words to hold in mind and one sentence about the feeling or general appearance you imagine.
Room for the unexpected.
I begin with a 25-pound block of clay. The form, details, and finish emerge through my intuitive creative process.
See what becomes yours.
View the completed sculpture, then decide whether you would like to pay the remaining balance and receive it.
Your words inspire my artistic interpretation. Exact likenesses, replicas, and specific design features are not guaranteed. Please explore my portfolio before requesting a commission.
