I love that this piece decided for itself what it wanted to be. The two figures lean into each other so naturally that they seem to share the same roots, which is exactly how a strong marriage or lifelong friendship feels. It is a sculpture about partnership, trust and holding each other up through every season. Because it came from my Intuitive Expressionism process, with no sketch and no plan, it is truly one of a kind. It makes a wonderful anniversary or wedding gift, a present for a best friend, or a meaningful piece for your own home to celebrate the person who stands beside you.
