The Watcher

She has been here longer than any of us.
Rooted deep. Arms curled like ancient branches reaching toward the light. Face tilted just slightly — watching, listening, simply being.
This piece began as an exploration of what it might feel like to truly belong somewhere. Not to arrive somewhere. Not to achieve something. Just to exist fully and peacefully exactly where you are.

Like a tree.
No ambition. No restlessness. Just roots, sky and the quiet satisfaction of being alive.
In a world that never stops moving she reminded me — while I was sculpting her — that stillness is its own kind of wisdom.

She knows something we’ve forgotten.
