A flowing blend of faces and forms emerging from a single structure. This abstract sculpture explores the idea that individual lives, thoughts, and experiences are woven together into a greater whole. Each angle reveals new relationships between the figures, inviting the viewer to discover their own meaning within the piece.
This is one of my more abstract pieces, and it rewards a closer look. Faces appear and disappear as the light changes, and the flowing forms seem to move even though they are clay. I let my hands lead without a plan, and the faces kept emerging until they became one woven whole. To me it is about family, marriage and community, the way our stories overlap until we become part of each other. If you enjoy modern figurative sculpture and conversation pieces, this one is for you. It looks wonderful on a pedestal or bookshelf where people can walk around it and discover new faces each time.
