This is one of my happiest sculptures. Two figures burst out of an old tree with their arms in the air, and every time I look at it I smile. It is a celebration of joy, freedom and dancing through life just because you can. It would make a wonderful gift for a dancer, a couple who loves to dance together, a newly retired friend, or anyone who needs a daily reminder to enjoy the moment. Like all my work, it was hand sculpted from a single block of clay with no plan, so the dancers found their own rhythm. It brings a cheerful, uplifting energy to any room.
