Even the oldest, most weathered trunk still finds strength when others gather around it.
This Tree of Life sculpture was created to show how roots — and people — intertwine to lift and support one another through life’s seasons. When I added a living plant, something unexpected happened. The sculpture came alive in a completely new way.
I entered this piece in a garden show and it stopped people in their tracks.
The living plant and the clay figures became one story — ancient strength meeting new growth.
Hand sculpted original — one of a kind.

This tree of life sculpture doubles as a living planter, and adding a real plant makes it feel even more alive. The figures wrap around the weathered trunk to support one another while fresh green growth rises from the center, a beautiful picture of family, friendship and caring for each other. It is perfect for a sunny windowsill or bright corner, and makes a wonderful gift for gardeners, plant lovers, mothers and grandmothers. Hand sculpted from a single block of clay through my Intuitive Expressionism process, it is a one of a kind original that feels fresh again with every new plant.
